Our Aim :
“Nad Sadhna Institute for Indian Music and Research Centre” runs Specialist Research Seminars, Workshops, Presentations, Exhibitions, Lecture-Demonstrations, Concerts And Symposia for staff and students relating to Music Psychology, Special Needs Education and Music, Early Childhood and Musical Development, Philosophy of Music Education, Music Technology Education, Music Curriculum, Sociology of Music and Music Education, Oral Music Education., lead by National and International scholars.
Our aim is to provide a musicological resource and forum for academics, researchers, performers and composers. The current emphasis is on “The journey of musical Instruments of India”.
Nadsadhna is an institution which has been established to perform public welfare deeds and rural development programme.
Nadsadhna promotes the folk music of Rajasthan. It is one of our main objectives to promote & protect Rajasthani Cultural and its Activities. Rajasthani folk music being popular on international level has various dimensions. This art is mostly performed by different tribes of Rajasthan. They present excellent performance with their musical instruments. Our institution has been trying to provide basic facilities to these people living in the rural areas.
The Aim of Music Education in Nadsadhna is to:
- facilitate and conduct a programme of research in and relating to music education, including areas such as: special needs; gender; children's musical development; adults' life-long learning in music; learning within formal, non-formal and informal settings; music technology; popular music, world music, traditional and classical music; musical production, distribution and reception across a range of international contexts; instrumental and vocal teaching and learning; classroom pedagogy; music in primary, secondary, tertiary and higher education; and others;
- advertise our research with a view to continuing to attract funding and research students;.
- support the process of writing research proposals and attracting consultancies within music education, seeking funds from national and international sources;
- provide a supportive cross-disciplinary forum in which members can present and discuss their work, including work-in-progress such as PhD research or publications in preparation, and new ideas for research;
